The short version
- If FirstSnag isn't for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. No reason needed.
- You can cancel anytime. Pro keeps working until the end of the time you paid for.
- Forgot to cancel a yearly plan? Email us within 14 days of the renewal.
We'd rather refund you than keep money for something that isn't working for you. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Your first payment: 14-day money-back
If you're not happy with Pro for any reason, email us within 14 days of your first payment, monthly or yearly, and we'll refund it in full. Your license then switches back to Free, and nothing on your PC is deleted.
If your first month was free through a referral, the 14 days start from your first actual payment.
2. How to ask for a refund
Email support@firstsnag.com from the email address you bought with, or include your order number. That's it: no forms and no "are you sure" calls. Refunds are sent by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, they usually show up within 5 to 10 business days.
3. Renewals
- Monthly: renewals aren't refunded, but you can cancel anytime to stop the next one. Pro keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for.
- Yearly: if your plan renewed and you meant to cancel, email us within 14 days of the renewal charge and we'll refund it. We send a reminder before every yearly renewal, so it shouldn't catch you by surprise.
4. When we may say no
We may refuse a refund when it's clearly being abused, for example repeated buy-and-refund cycles, or when a license was ended for fraud or for breaking our Terms, unless the law says otherwise.
5. Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A refund from us is faster for you, and a chargeback costs a small business like ours a fee on top of the refund. If a charge is disputed, the license it paid for is turned off while the dispute is open.
6. Everything else
- Referrals and creators: refunded or charged-back payments don't count toward referral rewards or creator commissions.
- If we stop selling Pro, we'll refund the unused part of any time you've paid for in advance.
- Your legal rights: nothing here limits any refund or cancellation rights the law gives you where you live.
